BNP Paribas， a France-based international banking institution， listed China&apos；s Taiwan island and the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region on par with China on its website， sparking widespread outrage and a call for a boycott on China&apos；s social media。
总部位于法国的国际银行机构法国巴黎银行，因在其网站上将中国台湾和香港特别行政区列为与中国同级的地区，引发了广泛的愤怒。中国的社交媒体上呼吁抵制巴黎银行。
Global Times reporters on Tuesday found that BNP Paribas&apos； website lists Hong Kong and Taiwan without their motherland China， while Reunion Island in Africa， New Caledonia in Asia Pacific and other regions are clearly followed by “France。”

BNP Paribas responded to the Global Times in an email on Tuesday that “we already use the term &apos；locations&apos； on our websites and fully take into account the status of Hong Kong SAR [Special Administrative Region]， Macau SAR and Taiwan as regions of China。”
